- Q1 I own a holiday home, completely furnished, fitted and equipped. Can I also become a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club?

A1 Yes, but only under the following conditions:
- If an accredited third-party hospitality/property management company manages your property, and/or;
- as an owner manager, if you have your property star graded by the relevant tourism board and/or obtain AA-accreditation and the property is contracted for housekeeping.

- Q2 If I donate my number of rooms or the whole unit for a number of weeks in the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club ACCOMMODATION POOL, when are these weeks available to other members and when can I book at other members' leisure properties?
- A2 They become available as follows:

- A4 Yes, you have to use the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club on-line booking engine to book your own holiday home.
- Q5 If I co-own a holiday home on a fractional ownership basis, as a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club, do I need to book my own fractional unit?
- A5 Yes, you have to use the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club on-line booking engine to book your own fractional unit.
- Q6 Can members book across different categories of leisure properties; units on cruise-liners; yachts and house boats?
- A6 Yes, they can, provided you have selected that choice in the detailed input form. However, be aware of the following:
when booking a unit, you will be using and be deducting PRC Points relevant to the property/unit you book.

- Q7 What is the difference between DONATED and ALLOCATED use-right time?
- A7 The difference is the following:
DONATED use-right time are the number of weeks, selected by the Leisure Property Owner to be donated into the i.Book-PRC ACCOMMODATION POOL.
ALLOCATED use-right time are the number of use-right weeks, allocated by the developer/third-party property management or hotel management company to the leisure property owner or co-owner/fractional owner.

- Q8 I am already using another on-line booking engine. If I become a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club, do I also need to use the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club on-line booking engine?
- A8 Yes and No.
Yes, when booking another member's leisure property; unit on a cruise liner; yacht or house boat.
No, when non-members as paying clients book at your leisure property; unit on a cruise-liner; yacht or house boat, you can do all your non-member bookings using your already activated on-line booking engine, in the same way you were doing it before joining i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club as a member.
i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club will endeavour with your on-line booking engine supplier to update the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club on-line booking engine regarding the availability of your leisure property.
- A8 Yes and No.
- Q9 I am not using another on-line booking engine. Do I need to do all my incoming bookings on the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club on-line booking engine?
- A9 Yes.
All bookings by members and non-members as paying clients' must be done using the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club on-line booking engine.
More details and user-friendly instructions will be supplied to these members for booking paying clients who telephone you and/or send you e-mails to enquire about bookings at your property/unit.
This is absolutely necessary to enable us to get an up to date availability of your leisure property in realtime and give a realtime on-line booking facility to all members.
- A9 Yes.
- Q10 When doing an availability search for members' leisure properties; units on cruise-liners; yachts and house boats, a leisure property I wanted to book on-line shows up as available, but when attempting to book it, it was not available?
- A10 Yes that can happen.
Remember, this is a realtime on-line booking system, which is based on a first come, first served ruling.
If another member anywhere in the world booked one second before you wanted to book it, that desired and chosen leisure property would no longer be available at the time you pressed the key.

- Q11 How long in advance can I start booking a leisure property; a unit on cruise liner; a yacht or a house boat?
- A11 This can be done a maximum of NINE months in advance.
- Q12 Can I book a leisure property; a unit on a cruise-liner yacht or a house boat at short notice?
- A12 Yes you can. If it's available, you can book at the last minute.
- Q13 As a co-owner/franctional owner, can I join directly on-line as a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club?
- A13 No.
Your third-party property management company needs to organise and administer the joining of the co-owners, and all co-owners/fractional owners in your co-owned leisure property must join simultaneously to enable the co-owned property to be accepted and enter into the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club ACCOMMODATION POOL.

- Q14 What happens when I sell my leisure property; a unit on a cruise-liner; yacht or house boat?
- A14 When selling your unit/property
you need to notify i.Book Private Residence Club.
Upon transfer of the unit/property to the buyer, the seller ceases to be a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club and the buyer of the unit/property automatically becomes a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club and acquires the balance of the unused PRC points and the commitment for the remaining available days in the current calendar year at the property/unit.
- A14 When selling your unit/property
- Q15 When becoming a member of i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club, can I immediately start booking on-line at other members' leisure properties; units on cruise-liners; yachts and house boats?
- A15 Yes, you can, provided you have completed and/or updated the detailed property input form and your once-off joining fee and monthly membership fees are paid up to date.
- Q16 If I cancel a booking, do I lose the PRC points I used to pay for my booking?
- A16 No you don't.
However, any cancellation of booked time at a unit will be treated by the owner of the unit where you have booked as a normal booking cancellation, and if applicable, it will be charged to the member cancelling as per the prevailing booking cancellation conditions.
Cancellation fees if due, cannot be paid for in PRC points, but will be due to the owner of the property/unit where you have cancelled the booking and is payable in the currency accepted by the member where you have cancelled booked time. (Our advice is that you should take out travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.)

- Q17 If during my membership calendar year, I am short of PRC points to complete my desired booking on-line, what are my options?
- A17 You have two options:
The member will be able to borrow PRC points from the next calendar year's membership allocated PRC points, provided the member agrees to have the membership agreement period extended to cover for the PRC points borrowed and pay the full membership fee annually in advance for the year from which you borrow PRC points.
Alternatively, you can top up the shortfall by paying the owner of the property/unit where you book with your credit card.

- Q18 In this membership calendar year, I am not going on holiday. Do I lose my PRC points?
- A18 No, you don't lose your PRC points.
Unused PRC points can be transferred to the next calendar year, to enable you to save PRC points in one calendar year to be used in future.

These are allocated to each owner and/or co-owner of a leisure property and to an owner and/or co-owner of residences on cruise-liners; yachts and house boats by i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club, to be used as currency to pay for booked accommodation and to regulate the access and booking at i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club members' units.

- Q21 What about other languages?
- A21 The website and members' property details will be made available in 11 or more languages, to enable the member to view and understand foreign members' property details in his/her own language.
- Q22 I need to book in different locations and/or different countries during my planned itinerary; may I do this?
- A22 Yes you can. The system will make provision for this.
- Q23 Will day by day booking be offered at all members' properties?
- A23 Some leisure property owners and/or their third-party management companies might have rules conditional to bookings for a minimum period.
If this is the case, i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club will feature these rulings on these members' property web pages on our website, to enable other members to view this when searching for available properties before making a booking.

- Q24 I have neither a star-grading nor AA-accreditation. How can I attain it?
- A24 We can assist you with sourcing appropriate information of such organisations.

- Q25 My hospitality/leisure property is my main income and I need peak season bookings to sustain my business. Can I block other members in peak season from booking FREE ACCOMMODATION at my hospitality/leisure property?
- A25 Yes you can.
This will however mean that you will also be excluded during the period you blocked your leisure property from being booked, resulting in you not being able to book any other leisure property; cruise-liner; yacht and house boat from other members anywhere in the world during the blocked periods.
However, this could suit this category of members, as most of the members in this category, managing their own leisure property, take their holidays during off-season.
Southern hemisphere members can still go on holiday in peak season to Northern hemisphere members' properties/units and vice versa, as peak season falls in low season for these opposite global hemispheres .
- A25 Yes you can.
- Q26 What about breakage and/or damage to my property incurred by visiting members and/or their guests?
- A26 To cover for breakage and/or damage to items and/or property, when staying at another member's leisure property or unit on a cruise-liner; yacht or house boat the ruling of the owner manager and/or third-party management company and/or body corporate and/or home owners association at the property/unit where the member booked and stayed, will be applicable.
- Q27 I have neither a star grading nor AA-accreditation and my property/unit is managed by a third-party management company. How will my property/unit be rated?
- A27 Your property/unit will be rated as follows:
Your leisure properties will initially be given a grading by i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club based on the requested property/unit's detailed information received on line via the secure login section on the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club website.
Furthermore i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club will collect feedback from other members who have stayed at these properties and evaluate the received feedback. i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club will then communicate with the member if a grading adjustment for the member's property is considered by i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club, before doing so.
However i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club recommends that you have your property/unit star graded and/or accredited by the AA. To find out how to do this, click here.
- A27 Your property/unit will be rated as follows:
- Q28 If a third-party management company manages my property, will this function be taken over by i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club when I register as a member?
- A28 No.
Access control, maintenance and administration of the member's leisure property, managed by a third-party management company remains with the third-party management company you are contracted to as per your agreement with the management company.
The third-party management company needs to adhere to the i.Book-PRC Private Residence Club booking rules and regulations on behalf of the joining member .

Showing substantial information of the property/unit, the amenities in and around the property/project/resort, will enable members to choose the right property or cruise-liner; yacht or house boat for booking their holiday, business trip or leisure time.

- A31 The membership agreement is for a period of ONE calendar year from the day you have completed the registration process and it can be renewed for ONE calendar annually.
